A Father's Letter of Love to his Daughter Leaving for College

When your kid leaves for college, the world is turned upside down for most parents. A love letter to the child leaving the nest would be the perfect antidote to this kind of big change in the family.

Dear Naomi,

Sweetheart, I'm very proud of what you've accomplished all these years, I've always believed in you. I knew even back then when you were little you had something special to give to the world. And really, your mom and me couldn't wait for you to grow up. Now this day arrives, its time to let my baby go and my heart is just filled up with so much emotions. I have so much to tell you, but I can't seem to put things into words, the hole in my heart feels bittersweet. Its brimming with pride and sadness as you make the first step towards your dreams.

To be honest, you don't need me or your mom's validation sweetheart, though I know you constantly want our opinion on a lot of matters. You obviously have your act together and we can see how passionate and responsible you are with your choices.

I hope now that we let you loose out into the real world, you won't forget all the lessons we taught you. Our family went through a lot and we've always been there for each other. I know you have a lot of life lessons to take along with you. Remember always do the right thing and listen to that moral compass inside you when you're face with difficult choices. I may not be there myself to protect you, but the things you've learned from us will protect you and guide you in tough situations. Whatever comes your way, you always have our support, you can always come home anytime. Never hesitate to call us or ask for help.

Don't worry about us, me and your mom will be just fine. Once you're gone, we'll be moping around the house and maybe feel like a wreck for a week or two, but you know, we'll get through it. We're made of tough stuff. So spread your wings and fly! Embrace your independence, seize the day and live your life to the fullest. You will always have our love. You will always be my little girl. Now make the world your own.

Love,
Daddy

Celebrate the epic years of your relationship with a Anniversary Love Letter. Perfect for old couples celebrating their Golden Anniversary

Dear Selma,

Today is Golden, my love. Today, we make it our 50th year together!

Its crazy that I still have you by my side. After all these years of laughter, sorrows, hang-ups, small miracles, giant milestones and intense passionate love. Let me tell you I am nothing without your respect, without your trust and without your love. Selma, you're love is awesome. It empowers me yet brings me to tears just thinking about it. We've been through so much baby.

Thank you for staying with me and making things worthwhile. My everyday moments with you are my most treasured memories. Thank you for giving me our wonderful children. I am lucky that they all look beautiful and take after you. And I am blessed for they know how much I love their mother and that in itself makes my heart surge with happiness.

Selma baby, I hope I made you happy in all the years we've been together. I have so many years left in my soul and I look forward to each day with you. Perhaps another 50 more. I love you so much dear.

Let our love be stronger than ever.

Always,
Sebastien

Love Letter for Anniversary

A letter celebrating the years of loving together, an intimate anniversary love letter for the one you love.

Dear Joyce,

Sharing my life with you for the last 5 years has been my utmost joy. Thank you for lifting my spirits up whenever I'm down and when things don't go our way. I'm glad I have you by my side, everyday. You bring out the best in me and keep me going- no matter how hard our problems are. I want to strive and do better at work, I want to make our dreams come true. I want you to be happy with me because you deserve that, my baby. I want you to have the life you always dreamed of with me.

On this special day, I am living up to all the promises I made years ago. I want this day to be special, so let's go out tonight and paint the town red with our love.

I love you!

Marty
