New Year Love Letter

A love letter to celebrate the coming new year with your very special soulmate

Dear Helene,

It's almost New Year and I've been thinking about my soul mate, the one I met years ago who made me feel like everything's alright with the world. If I'm gonna add another year to my age, it would be better spent with the one I love most - yes, I'm raving about my soul mate again. The one who fills my heart everyday with joy and love. I'm talking about you, my darling. You make everyday special and worth living. I'm looking forward for another 12 months of excitement and adventure, drama and tears, passion and desire- everything you bring onto my life.

Cheers to us this new year and let's toast to champagne, I can't wait to count the seconds with you in my arms.

Love,
Joey

Christmas Love Letter

A love letter for your sweetheart anticipating Christmas and all the goodness of the holiday season.

Dear Georgina,

Its almost Christmas, I can't wait to come home and spend the holidays with you. We could go ice skate, make eggnogs and or spend the night dancing together. I only have you in mind, baby.  I can't wait, the days seemed to stretch so long now, I wish December was here fast enough. You have no idea how much I miss you.

But before anything else, I got you something special, something you've always wanted, but I ain't saying no more! I just love it whenever I keep you guessing. I promise you its the perfect present. But in case you're gonna go out and get me a gift, you better  not! You know the only perfect gift for me is to have you all wrapped up in my arms. Warm and snug that's how I like it!

Oh honey, just you wait til I get home and we'll have the best Christmas ever. I love you.

Love always,
Richard

Love Letter Asking for a Date

Here's a love letter asking an old love out for coffee and to possibly rekindle the romance.

Dear Sabina,

I saw you walk just past me at the coffee shop the other day, I ran after you all the way around the block and looked everywhere and just like that you were gone again. Why do you elude me so? Why does fate tempt me so much, but won't take the chance to have us meet again? Maybe I was just day dreaming, hopeful to see you again at this same lonely town with our old haunts constantly reminding me of our good times. I'm missing you so much, isn't it so obvious?

But I got you on my mind lately and I'm making plans. Come out wherever you are, lets' have coffee like we used to. No strings, promise.

bisous,
Tony

Why Do You Hurt Me So Much Love Letter

A bittersweet, angry love letter from a broken down man who has difficulty expressing emotions, but in spite of this, he still says the most important thing- I love you no matter how much it hurts.

Dear Nina,

Why do you hurt me so much? Yet I still keep loving you no matter what. You crush my heart into pieces, left me for dead in the streets for your friends and family to mock on, laugh at like a fool. Yet, I'm still here, waiting with my head spinning from memories we have together. Yeah, they say love rules, makes the world go round, but it only makes my head spin in pain and longing for you. That's how I am now begging for a little bit of something- sentimentality or tenderness- I don't know.

Otis Redding said it all baby! I've been loving you too long. But my brother said it better- you gotta stop loving the bitch that bit your hand. But I can't, I just can't.

You messed me up real good. You made me crazy in love. You made me into this! If you know mercy and give it to a dying dog like me, let me come see you. I am not what you think I am, I feel things baby. I feel things real hard than most people, so forgive me if I ever hurt you in anyway out of anger. Emotions and words don't come easy for me, they never have. But that doesn't mean I don't know how to love. Maybe I should try harder to show you that I do, I do love you and I will always will no matter how much you keep on hurting me.

Ask your heart - do I deserve all the things your doing to me? Have I not been good to you? Do I not even deserve to be your friend after all we've been through? I was there for you when no one else was. I was deeply loyal and loving till the end and you know the truth. So find time to sort your issues, forgive and forget if you must. Or please open your mind - we should TALK things over. We should talk more and fight less. No matter how hurtful things are and no matter how much you've hurt me. I still believe in us.

Always,
Kurt

Love Letter declaring Commitment and Undying Love

Write all your feelings of undying love for her with this special love letter of commitment.

Dear Kate,

Y'know when I first met you, I couldn't take my eyes off you. I was at a loss for words, but your eyes spoke volumes. I knew it then you wanted to tell me your story and I wanted to tell my story as well. It took a second just to exchange the years and experiences we've been through with just one look. When we met, my heart was already too tired to love again, but you made this bleeding heart of mine jump right out of my chest. You made it beat again. I felt the blood rush too fast, I felt alive, truly alive again. That's your touch, baby, pure magic.

My love I have loved you for so long, so don't make me stop not wanting you, not loving you would drown me in tears. I don't regret Us, being together, being one. I am bound to you heart and soul. You are my comfort in the storm, your loving arms are my true shelter. I would do anything for you, soldier on through hard battles, that's how strong my love is for you, baby.

Change may come baby, but its always been about us. Us alone. No one else. Nothing else matters in my universe, but you baby. I am truly committed and loyal and forever passionate for you.

Forever in love,
Will

A Father's Letter of Love to his Daughter Leaving for College

When your kid leaves for college, the world is turned upside down for most parents. A love letter to the child leaving the nest would be the perfect antidote to this kind of big change in the family.

Dear Naomi,

Sweetheart, I'm very proud of what you've accomplished all these years, I've always believed in you. I knew even back then when you were little you had something special to give to the world. And really, your mom and me couldn't wait for you to grow up. Now this day arrives, its time to let my baby go and my heart is just filled up with so much emotions. I have so much to tell you, but I can't seem to put things into words, the hole in my heart feels bittersweet. Its brimming with pride and sadness as you make the first step towards your dreams.

To be honest, you don't need me or your mom's validation sweetheart, though I know you constantly want our opinion on a lot of matters. You obviously have your act together and we can see how passionate and responsible you are with your choices.

I hope now that we let you loose out into the real world, you won't forget all the lessons we taught you. Our family went through a lot and we've always been there for each other. I know you have a lot of life lessons to take along with you. Remember always do the right thing and listen to that moral compass inside you when you're face with difficult choices. I may not be there myself to protect you, but the things you've learned from us will protect you and guide you in tough situations. Whatever comes your way, you always have our support, you can always come home anytime. Never hesitate to call us or ask for help.

Don't worry about us, me and your mom will be just fine. Once you're gone, we'll be moping around the house and maybe feel like a wreck for a week or two, but you know, we'll get through it. We're made of tough stuff. So spread your wings and fly! Embrace your independence, seize the day and live your life to the fullest. You will always have our love. You will always be my little girl. Now make the world your own.

Love,
Daddy

Long Distance Love Letter for Girlfriend

A long distance love affair survives through a Love Letter. Make your girlfriend feel you are closer and not a million miles away.

Dear Hammy,

We maybe miles apart for now, but it doesn't mean, I don't think about you. I think about you everyday. When I wake up, when I'm at work, when I walk, when I go to sleep- all I think about is you. The distance between our hearts is not an obstacle for our love to blossom. This how strong our love is and forever will be.

In my mind, we are holding hands and holding each other tightly. This is the image I treasure and such thoughts of you gets me by everyday. It becomes less lonely here, less cold and cruel. All the more I long for you, the more I want to come home to your arms.

Just wait my dear, the dust will settle and we will be together again.

Always,
Bryan

Love Letter Dealing with New Found Love Inspite of Death in the Family

Have you suffered from a lost of a loved one? Only to find yourself at the crossroads with someone at the same situation as you are? Do you find yourself seeking solace and love from this person? Maybe you should try to express your feelings with this love letter and find the healing and acceptance you need

Dear Benjamin,

We suffer from the greatest of pains and know equally the greatest of sorrows- we had met at a time when we have both lost someone dear. Someone whom we had love more than ourselves for most of our lives.

Understandably, losing your young wife is your great heartache while I have the loss of my mother to bear. Life has not spared us from such tragedies. However, it is through these tragedies that we've met and found solace in each other's comforting words during those saddest hours.

My heart beats restlessly now, almost broken like fragile glass. I easily come undone because now I couldn't care less about what other people think or say. Death has scarred me to realize life is too short and indeed uncertain. I feel eager to love someone again and start anew. But I don't know how -- do you?

There is so much left unsaid when we meet and you just sit there and hold my hand for almost an eternity. A wonderful lifetime in my mind. There is so much I have in my heart to say, but I can't find the proper words. Lest I sound inapprorpiate, too forward or uncouth, would it be too much to ask? or just to know if you are ready as I am to love again?

I can wait, you know? I can give you the time of day and the space you need. Love can move us both forward from all of this. Love can help us heal. Love can bind us together. Love can make us see life with fresh eyes.

So let me know, okay?

Sarah

A Hole in my Heart Love Letter

Profess your endless love and undying passion with this love letter

Dear Margarita,

There is a great hole in my heart and there is no denying that this great void can only be filled by you. I can't be square with myself if I keep denying this truth - that I can't live without you.

I walk to work everyday reliving every moment of our last goodbye. The bitter and the sweet. I know what you mean to me now. You are my everything. You are the stars in my night sky, the sun that hovers brightly on lonesome days, the beautiful flower that stands triumphantly in my desert of isolation. You are my universe. My sweetheart, my lover, my bestfriend in the world. Without you, life would not be worth living.

I only have eyes for you my dear and my heart beats everyday just to see you again. You have my love forever.

Love,
Louie Louis

The Life That I Have by Leo Marks: The Chelsea Clinton Wedding Poem

When Chelsea Clinton got married, the late Leo Marks was invited (not as a peeping tom) but his legacy as writer and WWIII decoder was instantly resurrected once the couple spoke their vows. Over the web, The Life That I Have became a meme, trending everywhere for almost a week.

Chelsea Clinton's wedding poem was just a perfect grand testament to love!

However, one could sense the great loss, love and personal tragedies encrypted into the poem by Leo Marks. Who dedicated the poem, The Life That I Have to a girlfriend who died in a plane crash and made famous by a french agent Violette Szabo who died in the hands of the Nazis during WWII.

Here is a poem rooted in tragedy and finds new meaning in this modern age as a celebration of love for a young couple.

The Life That I Have
by Leo Marks

The life that I have
Is all that I have
And the life that I have
Is yours

The love that I have
Of the life that I have
Is yours and yours and yours

A sleep I shall have
A rest I shall have
Yet death will be but a pause

For the peace of my years
In the long green grass
Will be yours and yours
And yours

A Love Letter from the Brokenhearted

Plead your case to the one you love and confess all your feelings with a love letter. Damn that brokenheart!

Dear Debbie,

I can't pretend to feel differently about you. I know you don't feel the same about me. That hurts a lot. But I get it. I do get it and understand what you mean. But I hope you could pause a bit and feel how I feel, to be in my shoes for just a moment. Has your heart ever wanted something so bad, but is just scared to ask because it already knows the answer?

I knew even before you told me. That you wouldn't want us to be more than just friends.

I guess I just wanted to love someone like you whose heart has been broken so bad. I thought I could make things better. I just want to love you and make you whole again and kiss all your pain away. I thought you would understand how it exactly feels to be torn apart. Instead now, you're breaking mine into a million little pieces.

I can't make you love me, but that doesn't mean I should give up on love, does it? I just want to make sense of all this. I just want to be okay. I want us to be okay.

Hope we could still talk. Live and let live. But my heart won't stop feeling this way about you.

All My Love,
Justin

Wish You Were Here Love Letter

A love letter to reminisce the past and to let that someone special that you miss that you only wish to be with her.

Dear Mabel,

Wish you were here, my love. I am looking at probably the best full moon ever! Somewhat like what we saw at the lake together a few years back. But that night was special you know? This night alone, under this full moon only makes me feel lonely and longing for you. There are moments in life I will always treasure in my heart. Not because they were milestones or some incredible historic event, but simply because you were there. Sharing that moment with you makes me remember it forever!

I miss those times. I really wish you could see this because all I think of right now is you wrapped around my arms.

Always,
Jeff Johns

The First Day We Met Love Letter

A very sweet and intimate love letter to a girlfriend describing the first day they saw each other. A perfect example of an Anniversary love letter.

Dear Sweetheart,

Do you know what day it is? It is the day we fell in love for the first time.

Let me reminisce how we first met, I remember it was a rainy day, I was waiting for my friends at the coffeeshop, they never showed up and then you walked into the room like a fresh breath of sunshine, you instantly captivated my heart. You were wearing red and no one looks best in red like you do.

I remember walking up to you, a bit shaky, my heart beating really fast and I couldn't just ask for your name. I decided to ask the barista if he could give me your name, it was then I thought, why should I let this moment pass? this is the day the girl of my dreams walks into my life, why should I just let it slip away? I summon up the courage, bought a fresh cup of mocha and offered you coffee. You paused at the sight of me, politely smiled and said, "No." But I couldn't just take know for an answer, I scrambled to pepper you with questions, find a connection. I had to keep trying. I was just lucky I guess that we liked the same kind of movies and knew some familiar people in between. I am thankful you took the chance with me and accepted my offer of coffee and chat the next day. I guess you went around asking about me- I'm lucky, ey? People only had nice things to sy about me. Our first date I would like to add was the best in a string of great dates. I love the memory of the first time we met because it took a lot out of me and kept me excited to see you and know you. No regrets! I'm glad we are still together to celebrate this particular moment. I miss you my sweet! Happy Anniversary!

Love,
Paul

"I Don’t Care About Your Past" Love Letter

Dear Jess,

Please don't be mad at me, I didn't go around asking about you. People have a way of telling me things about you and those stories are not all nasty or malicious.

I know the past is a big deal for you, I am sorry that you went through a lot growing up. But I do believe that people can go through the worst in life and pull through-  they come out as better people in the process. You're wonderful Jess, believe me when I say it!

I just want you to know, I don’t care about your past, all I wanna know is if there is a place for me in the future. Is there a place for me in that heart of yours?

I can only wonder right now. Things are never simple, I know. But that's life, Jess. The best thing about it is that you don't have to go through all the years alone. There is someone like me who wants to be with you, who wants to love and take care of you and wish your worries away.

I'll leave it at that and keep hoping.

Always,
Fred

Love Letter to a Girlfriend

A marine's love letter to his girlfriend

Dear Roseanne,

I can only make promises I can keep and please believe my word when I say its true, I will come back alive from Iraq for you. How I know that? I don't. But I believe that fate will treat us kindly, not take us apart. May it smile upon us and grant us to be together again.

In time, my dear, the pain of being alone and being far away from each other will come to past. I just want you to know I miss you terribly.

In my days here, when its hot and unbearable and unsafe, I think not of the immediate danger around me. I think of you because thoughts of you keep me safe. Thinking of you makes me aware of surviving. Because getting back home to your arms is all I think about to make the days here go by. So stay strong, my love. Time is on our side.

I love you always.

Your bear,
Charlie

You are Special to Me Love Letter

Let someone you love feel special with this big love letter.

Dear Deidra,

You are special to me. You own my heart since the day we met. How could I forget those eyes? and those luscious lips that make your big smile. Never will I forget. I live for the very air you breathe. I dream of the days when I can hold you close to me, the way your body keeps me warm and safe. When I am with you, my worries about the world fade. You bring me this sense of peace and love I can never find elsewhere.

I love you, Deidre. Always remember that.

Love,
Philip
